When you put someone into second chance, they ALWAYS have the opprotunity to fire back. Its the nature of the perk, they are given a shot at taking you down. I got hit last night 5 miles away by somebody using this. The best thing to do is save some ammo and step off to the side when they go down, so they cant hit you.
